From 29 June to 10 July 2026, the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research will host the International summer school “Nuclear Dynamics: from Stars to Colliders”. The event is organised by the Bogoliubov Laboratory of Theoretical Physics as part of the Dubna International Advanced School of Theoretical Physics (DIAS-TH) scientific and educational project. Master’s and PhD students, as well as young researchers, are invited to participate.

The school’s programme includes lectures as well as evening discussion sessions. Participants are encouraged to prepare a short report on their recent scientific research or PhD thesis project.

The scope of the school covers the following topics:

  • strongly interacting nuclear matter,
  • heavy-ion collisions,
  • compact stars,
  • superheavy nuclei and atoms,
  • excited nuclei.

Applications can be submitted until 1 May 2026 on the event’s Indico page. The working languages of the school are English and Russian.
